great access to parks and art venues for weekend strolls
I stayed here recently and truly appreciated the easy walk to Lone Pine State Park, where I soaked up some breathtaking views of the valley, and I also loved being just a short distance from the Hockaday Museum of Art, which was a fantastic spot to explore local culture and creativity. the hotel itself had very clean rooms and a welcoming lobby area, perfect for unwinding after a day of strolling around the city.

great upgrades but limited pool hours
The recent remodel of the hotel is impressive and truly enhances the overall experience. The Queen Room with Two Queen Beds was spacious and exceptionally comfortable.
The restricted pool hours were disappointing, limiting our swim time.

missingWrote a review on Aug 30dirty bathroom
The breakfast experience quickly turned sour with a limited selection that bore no comparison to other hotels. It caught me off guard that the pool was closed, while being misled that it was open during check-in. Plus, the absence of wash cloths and hand towels in the bathroom put a damper on things, making it clear that cleanliness and upkeep between rooms has some serious lapses. I also discovered the heat control in my second room needed some dusting—something I'd expect to find in a ship's engine room, not a hotel.

The room was spacious and clean, with very friendly staff making for a welcoming atmosphere. However, the pool access restrictions were frustrating, allowing no usage until after 9 AM and before 10 PM. Additionally, I faced issues with missing coffee cups during the morning rush and counter service that felt unorganized. While the hotel featured fresh French patisseries, the overall dining experience could have been better organized.
